David LaChapelle is a photographer and video director. The only work I've seen by him is ones featuring different celebrities. The top picture is Marilyn Manson as a crossing guard for depressing-looking elementary school kids and the lower is Courtney Love holding Kurt Cobain (I'm assuming before he had died) with their daughter, Frances Cobain. The blocks spell out "LaChapelle...Heaven to Hell".
